The Problem With Cement

Most flat and bevel markers are set directly into a cement or sand base. Over time — through frost heave, mowing equipment, and simple settling — that base sinks, tilts, or cracks, and the marker goes with it. Grave Saver is a rigid, recessed foundation that the marker sits inside, so the ground can move around it without taking the marker down with it.

How It Works

From Loose Marker to Level Foundation

Measure the marker

We confirm the marker's dimensions and shape — flat or bevel — against our standard Grave Saver sizes.

Set the foundation

The Grave Saver frame is recessed into the ground at the plot, level and square, in place of a poured cement base.

Set the marker

The marker sits inside the frame, supported on all sides — finished flush with the surrounding lawn.

Common Questions

Can Grave Saver be installed on an existing marker?

In most cases, yes — the existing marker is lifted, the Grave Saver foundation is set in its place, and the marker is reset inside it. Call us with your cemetery's rules in hand; some cemeteries require the plot caretaker to be present for removal and resetting.

What's actually covered under the lifetime warranty?

The Grave Saver foundation itself is warrantied against cracking, sinking, and material failure for as long as it's in the ground. Contact us for the full written terms.

Do you ship outside Minnesota?

Yes — Grave Saver ships nationwide. Installation guidance is provided with every order.
